For this layout, I wanted something professional, straightforward and usable. This was the first design that incorporated the new IA and navigation structure. Barring aesthetic appeal, it's probably the best version from a usability standpoint. The site's content remained in this layout for the longest time of any past version, so this design went through a few content revisions and minor interface tweaks before being retired.
