Room Diagrams

After entering all the data for each room on campus, I used Adobe Illustrator to draw diagrams of possible furniture layouts for each room. The multipurpose room had the most diagrams, so that is the one shown here. I cleaned up the architectural-style diagrams of each room and added to-scale furniture symbols. This phase of the project was the most fun for me, since I got to do something systematic yet still artistic, in a way.

Reservation System Manual

This manual was created by modifying a sample manual from another school using a similar database system. A lot of the original text of the sample manual came from the help section of the program itself, and I went back to that source for some of it, to get more authentic information. This manual was meant to be used when training PSU employees to use the new database system.

Reservation System Quick Guides

Three quick guide brochures were created for users of the reservation system. These were modeled after another school's materials. The links below point to two different formats for the file containing all three quick guides. The document pages alternate between the outside and inside pages of each brochure. The third brochure does not include finished screenshots on the outside back panels because that part of the system was not yet in use.

Inventory Sheets

I created this form & filled it out for every room on campus, then manually entered the forms into the database.
